The partly open kitchen reveals brass-trimmed rôtisseries with fine meats and poultry turning over open flames. The only thing more irresistible are the potatoes crisping as they roast beneath whole chickens, ducks, legs of lamb and so much more. Our Executive Chef prepares contemporary comfort food with a French accent, no apology for the occasional luxury, and  always based on quality regional ingredients from trusted sources. The greater part of our menu is gluten free, as we simply roast healthful ingredients.  Abundant fresh vegetable are seasonal, as are generous main course salads for lunch and heart-warming desserts, including home-made ice creams, pots de crèmes and fresh fruit crumbles.

The “Louis XV meets the kitchen” interiors balance comfort with sophistication and a striking mix of the rough-hewn and refined. You’ll feel at home in anything from blue jeans to black tie in the no table cloth dining room’s easy going ambiance. The bar, clad in sleek grey stone and antique wrought iron gates, is the spot for quenching original cocktails and snacks, and equally delicious Upper East Side see-and be seen people watching. Your host, Georgette, assures a warm welcome whether you choose to perch at the bar, make yourself comfortable on a leather banquette in the dining room or get a glimpse behind the scenes from the private chef’s table at lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. A TO-GO menu is also available for pick-up at the restaurant.

Rotisserie Georgette, now celebrating its fifth year, was created by Georgette Farkas and Katina Pappas in November 2013.
